These entries written after graduation to 2003

Disciple Now 2003

I remember this time in 1998 that Becky Apgar was 15 years old and came to visit Clemson. We all noted how she looked a bit like Bonnie. Years later, Becky Apgar was 19, and I came to visit Clemson. I now noted how she looked like, talked like, acted like, and (except for her first name) was in every way identical to Bonnie. Maybe someday she'll even get engaged to someone whose name, when re-arranged, spells "I'm in law school."

good times

I remember this time that Ben Bolt told a story about an Indian friend of his. This "friend" called him "Gorto." When Ben inquired what this meant, his friend replied, "It means 'fatty.' You are a fat American." He proceeded to challenge Ben to a foot race. The two of them stepped outside Earle Hall and raced straightway. Ben handily beat his friend, who was baffled. "How is this possible? You are so fat!" A rematch resulted in another decisive victory for Ben. When Ben told this story to C-Burke, Cliver, T.L. and myself at the Mexican Restaurant, there was much laughter.

good times

I remember Cynthia what's-her-name being at Disciple Now. Although I've met her before, I still can't hear that name without thinking of my freshman year and a disgruntled Red Cross worker shoving a needle in my arm while whispering threats at her supervisor: "Shut up, Cynthia .... shut up, Cynthia...."

good times

I remember an up-and-coming computer science major named Ashley Barnett was one of the Bible Study leaders. Cliver commented that he had visited her website and found it quite good ... "for someone your age," he added. This was a classic Cliver foot-in-the-mouth kind of moment. I volunteered that he should have just come out and said "for a girl your age." This quote was later attributed to Cliver by those present.

good times

We all ate at Walhalla Steakhouse after the ordeal of Disciple Now. Becky commented that Cliver had done quite a good job for his first time leading Disciple Now. I agreed, and added that it would have been good even for his second time. Not to be outdone, Becky stated that it would be good even if it was the twenty-billionth time. However, C-Love and I agreed that after twenty-billion times, you'd expect it to be a little better. This was met with a scold from Becky ... Cliver, meanwhile, was talking to another table.

Submitted by Katie Madding

Remember when you wrote that limerick about me being a two-cent hooker?  Yeah, that wasn't very nice.  What was that limerick anyway?

(my addition) Katie is referring to a batch of limericks that I wrote one Valentine's day. She didn't read any of them, but she requested one of her own. So, I wrote one. The "two-cent hooker" part (although I never used those words) referred to a paper-plate award she had received at a Tiger Band pimp & ho party. (don't blame me kids, Katie's the one who went ....) But, to protect Katie's good name (somebody has to), I'll omit the poem.

This nostalgia is rated

I remember many times that Jess took a "shortcut" from Charlotte to Clemson ... this would always involve driving 35 the whole way on narrow roads.

good times

BillyBonnie's Wedding

I remember this time that we took numerous pictures with one of the wedding reception cameras, and each of the pictures had David McMahan in the background using a cell phone. I think that when they get those pictures developed and put them into a scrapbook, a good caption for them would be "So Dave, how's the reception?" This is assuming that all the pictures weren't ruined when I dropped the camera.

good times!

I remember bringing Billy's bath towel that he left when he moved out, and laying it unwrapped on the gift table. This was probably classless, but so am I.

good times

I remember that the lovely Kathryn Knoespel came with me, and Pastor Latimer was there, so I went up to him and told him to ask me the Pastor Latimer Question - "Are you dating anybody?" Because finally, I had an affirmative answer. On the one hand this may seem like using another human being in a vain attempt to make myself look better. But on the other hand, it was pretty hilarious.

good times

I remember David McMahan, Katie Madding, Kathryn Knoespel and myself being seated at the same table. I think it was clear that this would be a table of much hilarity, because I noticed they placed us as far from the wedding party as possible.

good times

I remember Katie Madding drawing up a list of 20 questions to ask about Jess' special guy acquaintance, the most elusive person in Jess' life since her mysterious junior year roommate named Sarah. I don't remember his name, but I do remember that he didn't like chicken.

good times

At some point in this whole process, Billy and Bonnie got married. Congratulations!

I remember this time at Clemson that a group of us were going to eat at a Japanese steakhouse. (I'm pretty sure this was the same time that Jen left for Scotland and Katie Madding ruined Christmas.) And Cameron told me this: it's a nice place, so whatever you do, don't where jeans. I pleaded my case with him, and told him that I could wear jeans and make it work. However, he was very adamant on this point, so I gave in.

When I showed up, several people were wearing jeans, including Jess Bednarcik, the upper echelon of fashion among all our friends, and possibly Cameron himself. And I'm sure that if Dave Schubert was there, he was wearing shorts. Obviously I found this disturbing. It would not have bothered me except that Cameron had been very specific on this point.

So maybe I was in a snippy mood that night, and when the chef dropped a bowl and pointed at Katie Madding and said, "It's because she was looking at me!" perhaps I was too eager to tell her that she ruined Christmas. Kyle Brown was sitting right there beside her. He just laughed and laughed, and to this day finds it one of the funniest things ever.

Searching for Entertainment

OK so one of my favorite things to do is to search all of the nostalgia pages for a particular person's name, to see how many of my memories are about them.  But one day that got old, so I started searching the pages to see how many times certain topics came up, like "pizza" or "football" for example. Sometimes I wish that more people would add regularly updated features to their pages that I could visit, but in the mean time, this will do.

good times

"Let's go all out..."

I remember how I used to go on something called "Big Break."  While there, the girls rooms would have the guys over and cook for them, and the guys rooms would have the girls over and cook for them.  There was always a lot of pressure to please and impress the visiting group. Usually, as long as the girls had food there, and had themselves there, that was enough for the guys. But when the girls would visit, it usually involved the guys buying flowers and expensive items not on the original menu, composing songs, rearranging furniture,  and vacuuming.  Often, the guys would even do extra stuff when they were the visitors.  I'm not saying that this goes to show that girls are harder to please than guys.  Nor am I saying that it shows that guys will go to stupid lengths to impress girls who are mostly already dating or engaged.  I'm sure it goes to show something, though.

good times

While I'm on the topic.  I mentioned below how one year I shaved my goatee at Big Break.  Well not many people noticed, so the next year I grew a full beard beforehand, and then shaved off everything except large sideburns reaching nearly to my chin.  A few more people noticed that, and it earned me the nickname "chops" from Dave Schubert for the week.

good times

I remember how when I was in marching band, there were signs for all of the tunes we would play in the stands. One of the songs we played was that 80's song, "Don't You Want Me Baby?" And so one of the drum majors, all of whom were female, would end up standing in front of the whole band holding up a sign that said "Don't You Want Me." This resulted in all types of lewd comments from the male band members. Although pretty much everything resulted in lewd comments from the male band members, I still felt sorry for the female drum major, while trying not to think about the question myself.

good times

I remember this time we played charades, or something similar to charades, or just something. And Katie Madding would always write down something embarassing to act out, or say or do or something, and hope it that some guy, or preferrably me, would get it. And it would never, never fail that I would get it and thus be stuck having to act out Britney Spears or Ru Paul or anything that would require booty dancing or anything sexually suggestive. Then everyone would have a good laugh except me.

Ding ding ding! The previous memory just won the University of North Carolina Most Bitter Memory on the Page Award!

The University of North Carolina
Don't talk to us about bitter memories.

I remember this time at Big Break when I decided to shave. The next day, as I was visiting another villa, Mandy Hammon answered the door. She said she had wondered who the attractive young man was. But she was mistaken. It was just me.

good times (Note: the previous memory has been modified for purposes of humorous presentation and may not reflect Mandy Hammon's actual thoughts at that moment.)

I remember this time Dr. Paul Buyer was about to throw away a somewhat broken slapstick thing (a very noisy percussion instrument.) I seized the opportunity to get this noisemaker, valued at $24.95. It was perfect to be used as the whip sound in that Sleigh Bells song. I happened to have that song on CD, and Cliver had a set of sleigh bells, and well, you know how it goes.

good times

these memories were actually added after the ones above, but I wanted more space between the UNC thing and anything to do with sports.

Sport-Term Memory
It's lame, but you know...

I remember this time I went to a Clemson soccer game - my first. My first soccer game EVER in fact, other than when I was in 8th grade and I ran track and the girls' soccer team would use the field, and I didn't know much except that there was a really cute girl named Meredith Andrews who played on the team. If anybody knows what ever happened to Meredith, it doesn't make much difference one way or the other in my life at this point. But much like the 8th grade, it was really cold and snowy at the aforementioned Clemson game.

good times

I remember this time that Clemson had a quarterback named "Woodrow Dantzler." Well he was pretty darned good except against certain defenses when he would become totally ineffective. In the 4th quarter of such games he would often disappear with a mysterious "ankle injury." However he went on to break some big records which erased such shortcomings, and the ankle injuries as well.

good times

I remember this time I went to a Clemson baseball game - my first. My first baseball game EVER in fact, other than when I went to a little league game with Josh Shiflet. I don't remember much about the game except that Laurie and Cliver were with me, and Jenny who's-her-face was there, Laurie's roommate. Also I'm pretty sure I should have been studying at the time.

There were numerous other sporting events I could have attended as well but, you know ... flurries.

A Shot of Brandy

I'll never forget the first words I spoke to Brandy McKinney...

Eudy112: Hi, you are on my buddy list for some odd reason
Eudy112: Do I know you?

The original plan for this segment included a picture of Brandy McKinney, but although I couldn't find one even by typing her name in a Net search, I did find out from the same search that Jason Finley was married, through various twists of fate.

Just some more entries

I remember this time Cliver had 6 drinking glasses that were super-easy to break. Harvey broke one by throwing other dishes on top of it in the sink. I broke one by hitting it on the divider in the sink. Bonnie broke one, I think by tipping it over on the counter. Then I think Harvey broke another. By this time most of us were afraid of the glasses, and Cliver was usually the only one to use them.

good times

I remember this time somebody said "I have SO much to do tomorrow," but it was really just laundry or something
good times

I remember this time that I did or said something stupid and everybody laughed at me, so I left the room. Then I realized there was really nowhere else to go, so I'd just wait a minute and go back in. But it was always pretty awkward to go in again.
good times

I remember this time that girls such as Heather Koestline and Laurie Gambrell would come over quite often to see Cliver. Although Cliver was dating them at the time (though not at the same time) and I was not, I at least got the advantage of seeing girls such as Heather Koestline and Laurie Gambrell quite often. Once Heather even brought over cinnamon rolls with orange icing for Cliver for his birthday, and although I did not get to eat any of these rolls, I always thought maybe Cliver would offer. Yes sir I think I faired pretty well as Cliver's roommate.

good times

I remember this time as I was about to move out of 522 McCabe, when I discovered that if I looked out my window at an extreme angle I could see Tillman Hall. I was extremely upset that I had not realized this until now. It definitely beat the year before when, if I looked out my window at an extreme angle, I could only see Shannon and Katie's window.

good times

I remember this time that a guy from Australia whom I didn't know read the entire nostalgia page and said he enjoyed it, especially "the coughing girl" story. It just goes to show that Australia is a world apart from America.

good times

I remember this time that Harvey was in his room alone listening to a dance version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" AND singing along with it. I shared this with Cliver and we both just laughed and laughed.

That can be arranged

I remember this time that Cliver was arranging the chairs in the Hendrix Center lounge to form a huge question mark, while some of us stood on the second floor balcony to help him. One of the coolest things about college is there's not as many adults telling you "STOP!" as in high school.

good times

I remember a time that Darren played a song on the guitar and sang - I don't remember what it was - but it was soooooo good that Kyle said he now liked it better than the original. And I said that if I ever got really rich and powerful, I would have a room of my house where I open a door and Darren is there and plays that song for me. Well we all laughed but Darren, I still mean it.

good times

I remember this time that John Cliver and I started rearranging people's names to see what we could spell. We translated Christina Pulas, Jenni Krider, and Trudi Craigie (who all lived together) into "Sir Spatula Chin," "Nike Diner, Jr," and "Great Crud, III." We called them by these names behind their backs for some time. Although Jen Helm also lived in the same apartment, her name was too difficult to work with, but I don't think she missed out on much.

good times

I remember this time that I got a phone call from Jen Helm about how she was working on a paper on her computer but had lost it. So she brought the disk over with the corrupt file on it and I proceeded to recover it. She thought this was pretty awesome and she wrote "Kevin is a hero" on our message board. This stayed up there for a long time, along with a message in Billy's section that said "Fincher called."

Guest nostalgia from David E. McMahan!

Hey remember that time we rode down to Atlanta, and I alternated between talking too much and not talking at all to keep the trip experience fresh and exciting. But then everyone in the car would jump in on some random and hilarious topic and laugh continously for several minutes and then not speak to each other for 10 minutes afterwards.

good times

I remember this time we went down to Atlanta (Cameron, Jen, Kevin, and myself) to watch Cameron's brother Bjorn play Shaggy in a stage production of Scooby Doo and I nearly lost my hearing because of kids using their outside voices during the entire play. "TREASURE CHEST!!!! HE'S IN THE TREASURE CHEST!!!! TREASURE!!! TREASURE!!!!"

Man! We should have all turned around and yelled "LAUNDRY BAG!!!" If only I could think of these things more quickly--I could come up with my own material instead of repeating everything David Letterman said last night.

good (inside joke) times.

Hey remember that time we rode down to Atlanta (notice a theme here?) and when I first got in the car, I somehow landed EVERY single important travel responsibility except for driving--and that's only because it's Jen's car and the fact that I could only drive a stick in a very extreme and/or bizzare emergency. It all started with the whole front passenger is in charge of music thing, but then it moved on to navigation and down the slippery slope to holding the two-way radio. I think that I would have gone over the edge if my cell phone rang or something!

delegation time!

I also remember the time I stayed up past Letterman to finish typing nostalgia about our Atlanta trip and this Sharper Image infomercial (I never get to watch Criag Kilborn because WBTV insists on putting infomercials on between Letterman and his show) came on and the lady hosting introduced herself as somebody Hennessey.

Bring Back...

Bring Back...

Bring back my Bonnie to 5-1-B!

I remember this time that I saw Billy lying on the couch watching TV, with a quilt over him and with Bonnie sitting in some configuration on top of this, and with used paper plates and metal forks on the floor beside this where they had eaten Hamburger Helper earlier. Ok this was literally everday from August to May.

good times. And now they're engaged. More good times ;-)

Also I remember that Bonnie's family would call the room and ask if Bonnie was there. Rather than saying "Let me check" I'd say "Yes, just a minute..."

good times

Also I remember this time Bonnie was sick and nursed herself back to health on our living room sofa. I found nothing unusual about this until Cliver said something. This is not to promote any hostilities about these incidents in any way.

Hennesseein' is Hennebelievin'...

....Guest nostalgia copied unedited from the Instant Messanger!

HarpyAl: ok, let's try this nostalgia...
HarpyAl: haha
HarpyAl: i remember this time at crusade when jamie mills and chris smith were announcing wednessday prayer by jamie speaking in "pfffthhbb"'s and chris translating. chris happened to mention that i was leading prayer that wednesday, so he said, "led by allison hennessey--holy hennessey..."
HarpyAl: i have to go--we're taking jenni krider out for her 21st birthday

yeah good times.........

I remember this time that Allison and the gang took Jenni Krider out for her 21st birthday

good times

I remember this time I went to a youth lock-in at a church, hosted by Ryan whats-his name and Catherine Scruggs, and Cameron went too. I don't remember any of the kids and I'm sure they don't remember me. But I think Billy was there too and I remember kicking or throwing lots of things and playing "I never" for 1 1/2 hours.

good times

I remember hosting a jazz show on the radio and there was one song I played more than any other: I announced it as "The Three Trumpeters" and sometimes would announce who the "Trumpeters" were or that you could hear the "Trumpeters" in trio at the end. I later purchased the CD with this song on it. I only just recently discovered that the title was not "The Three Trumpeters" at all but the much more clever "The Three Trumpeteers."

STUUUUUUUUUPID!!!!!!!! (enter trombone slide) D'OH!

Harvey, Harvey...

Harvey the Wonder Hampster!

This is from a time that I heard Harvey answer the phone in our apartment and it was a telemarketer. (Presented hear as how I heard it.)
Harvey: Hello? (pause approx 1 minute in length.) Well I'm really not interested, and I wish you would have asked me at the beginning so you wouldn't have wasted all this time. (Small pause.) Well you wasted MY time. (Slightly longer pause.) Did you hear what I said? You wasted MY time.

Also a couple months before graduation I learned that "Harvey" did not actually appear anywhere in Harvey's full name.

good times

OK so there was also a time that Harvey came to the window of Cliver and myself's bedroom and tapped on it. It was 1:00 AM; I had to get up at 6:15 to go on the radio at 7:00. Therefore, I was extremely angry. I went outside in my socks and told Harvey all of this. Harvey, unruffled, said he wasn't playing around, that he had forgotten his key. The next morning I apologized on the radio and dedicated J.J. Johnson's "Amazing Grace" to Harvey.

good times

I remember a guy calling the room 10,000 times and everytime the conversation went like this:

Me: Hello?
Guy: HARVEY!
Me: No, just a minute...

good times

Harvey, Harvey...

Harvey the Wonder Hampster!

HEY HARVEY!

I remember one time my roommates in Lightsey informed me that they had installed four trash cans in our kitchen. The implication of this was that we emptied the trash four times less often. The apartment never smelled the same after this.

good times

I remember once the Maddings had some babies in a stroller (I don't know the babies' names) and John Cliver did his famous baby cry sound nearby. This prompted Mr. Madding to turn around and check on the babies, and he picked one up. (How he chose which one to pick up, I'm still not sure since neither was crying.)

hilarious times ***** five-star nostalgia!

I remember this time Cameron got married and got a job teaching. The kids called him "Mr. T." But they didn't think it was funny like you and I do.

good times

I remember this time there was a senior guy in my Acting I class named Adam. Well at the graduation ceremony, I take a seat in front of him, and with us both wearing our cap and gowns he asks me in all sincerity, "So, are you taking Acting II?"

GOOD TIMES!

I remember borrowing David's sleeping bag without asking, and it got all wet, plus I destroyed the plastic storage bag. Again this was my freshman year when I didn't know David so well, and this was probably pushing my luck.

good times

I remember this time that Rachel Bedenbaugh and Pierre Elliot made huge sacrifices to help out international students

good times

I remember this time Crusade had an Ultimate tournament for "anybody" to enter. But as it turned out the only team for "anybody" was Craig Steven's, called "Just a bunch of people." We had girls. So we played a couple games (why we made it to 2, I'm not sure) and we lost, miserably. Although I ran hard and wore myself out and tried my hardest (I was even wearing new shoes) I never had so much as one good play. Now I know how Vincent Van Gogh must have felt, when he played Ultimate frisbee.

good times

I remember this time there was a "Gary Kirby, Pursue Excellence, President for 2001" sign near Lightsey. Well then we all voted and Gary Kirby won!!!!!! Go Kirby! And for awhile everytime I passed that sign I thought to myself, "I could just take that, he's done with it now." Then one morning I woke up and it was in my apartment.

good times

Then I wedged the sign's post between the couch and the wall (for display.) And strangely, once the couch was removed, the sign just kind of hovered there.

good times

I remember this time that Lightsey 51B formed a tradition: every Tuesday night after Crusade - Battle Bots in the 51B lounge. Myself, Cliver, BonnieBilly, Steven Pautz and David McMahan were the regulars. We tried and tried to recruit people, but even Harvey would avoid it sometimes. Part of the tradition involved Cliver and myself calling every girl's room we knew, and inviting them over (they wouldn't come, not even with the promises of free food.) Eventually Cliver and Laurie started dating, so she came over, but we still had to call, and she was gone as soon as it was over.

good times!

I remember this time when I lived with Brandt, and Andrea Patterson sprinkled glitter in our room while we weren't there. Well when I found it I was outraged, especially because some of it was in Brandt's stuff! And when Brandt found it, he was even more outraged, especially because some of it was in his stuff! This was extremely unfunny at the time, and I made Andrea come and clean and vacuum it (although I found out it was not her who had done most of it, but Marc Bryant.) Well I was able to forgive Andrea, but from what she said, Brandt never did. The reason I tell this story is: That glitter reminds me of Nathan Quarles, in that both kept showing up in the oddest places.

good times

I remember this time a belt (and a fairly nice one) ended up OUTSIDE the door of my dorm room... this was my sophomore year when I lived with Brandt. Well it wasn't his and it wasn't John Cliver's (who once left a belt there.) So to whoever left that belt there: It's mine now, big dog.

good times

I remember this time John Cliver and I watched Star Trek: Voyager, and Cliver said "I don't care if she is half-Klingon, she looks pretty good to me."

I promise.

I remember this time time that Harvey bought a box of diapers from the store, and was planning to put melted chocolate mixed with corn flakes, or something to that effect, on the diaper, and then put it on the doorknob outside apartment 33C. Cliver and I completely disowned any responsibility and advised Harvey not to do it, specifically predicting that Allison would be very upset. But Harvey did it, and when Allison found it that morning, she said in her own words: "It made my day."

good times

I remember this time that Harvey undertook a needlessly troublesome prank of taking the two cabinet mirrors in the bathroom out of the wall and switching them with each other. This resulted in the mirrors opening in the wrong direction. His main objective was to confuse me, but that never happened because I never tried to get into the cabinet that morning. And he switched it back before that afternoon. I had no knowledge of it until perhaps 6 months later when Harvey brought it up, and it was then that he discovered his entire prank had been for naught. Billy admitted he did open the mirror that morning, but had stayed silent at the time to avoid giving Harvey any satisfaction for his efforts.

I remember this time that a girl came by the apartment to see me, but I think it was just the RA wanting me to sign something.

I remember this time I was on campus and the phone rang. And I said, "It's on campus," or "It's off campus." Once Cliver asked me, "How do you know?" I explained to him that the rings were distinctly different. This was Cliver's junior year.

good times

I remember this time that Katie Madding and Mrs. Shannon Alford, both now graduated, returned to Clemson for homecoming. And a stranger said of them: "Look at those freshmen! They look so young!"

ha ha! Now that's funny stuff.

I remember this time Kyle said I was the funniest guy I know. I tried to tell him I wasn't really funny, I just said stupid junk that I probably stole from somewhere else and I was kind of mean about it sometimes. Actually I didn't say that, but I told him he was much funnier plus he could play guitar well. Well this conversation went nowhere, but Kyle probably said "No, man" at least 4 times.

good 4 times

I remember this time Allison sent us an email while she was in Europe, and all of the "y's" in her message ended up as "z's."

zep, those were the dazs

I remember the time my Nostalgia page won an award. Actually it didn't, but if they gave an award for Garbage with a Green Background it might get it. Actually I shouldn't say that because a lot of guests have written stuff for this page. Plus I have to admit that the stuff I write is pretty darn good, too. And in fact I did win a $10.00 gift certifate for suggesting to my summer project in Orlando that we have a project nostalgia page. This was deemed One of the Best Two Ideas for the Orlando Summer Project 2000 Web Page. And then in an unprecedented move, I used the gift certificate as a crutch to help me ask a girl to go eat with me. Although it may sound kind of low to cash in on a gift certificate while on an outing with a girl, you're right, it probably was. I can only hope that if she reads this she doesn't become angry at my ineptitude, but since we ended up at the airport as I tried to drive us to Chili's in a borrowed car, she is probably well aware of my ineptitude.

GOOD times.

I remember this time at the Valentine's dance my freshman year I saw Bonnie Apgar sitting by herself on the final dance for the evening. I had been dragged to this dance against my will by friends in a misguided attempt to make me more sociable, and I could only have pity on her, thinking perhaps the same had happened to her. So I asked her to dance and we did. Bonnie to this day claims to have no recollection of this incident, and perhaps in fact it was the Halloween dance because Bonnie was wearing some bizarre poofy dress. Ahhh it's all coming back to me now: Josh Shiflet was dressed as a scary caveman, Kara Belcher was a flapper, and other people were other such atrocities. The point of the story is that now Bonnie and Billy are engaged.

good times

Hey Joe Slack's engaged too

good times

Guest nostalgia by Sage Bigger!!!!!!!

I remember the time that Kevin sat beside me in Art 103 and let me tell you those were some funny times. I remember the cheap tape player, the Sarah McGlaughlin tape, the persistant singing (on my part), the silly cow I had to draw upside down, etc. But I think one of my favorite memories about that art class was seeing Kevin's artistic creations. You're really good, Kevin. I'd still like that sketch of the wood craftsmen. So uh, how 'bout it?

Creative times!

I also remember some of the best days in my college life were praise band practices. Never have I had so much fun singing and going crazy with those people (Kyle, Darren, Rich, Lindsay, Jason, Chad, TL, Tyler, and Shelley)

rockin' times!

I remember this time that Shannon Cooke said she wanted a short wedding so that she could get to "the fun stuff" (the reception)

This according to Katie Madding

I remember this time that Jonathan Denton came to 51B to pick up Cliver, but Cliver wasn't ready. So Denton sat at my computer and began reading the nostalgia page, and ended up looking at all three pages. When he finally return to his vehicle he discovered that C-Love and Robbie Gouge (I think) had allowed it to stay running all this time.

Actually, I wasn't there for that.

I remember this time that I put "EUDY CALL" on my graduation cap. I mean, you only graduate once. Might as well mess it up.

good times

I remember this time Jenni Krider said, "I mean..."

I mean,

I remember this time my freshman year that it was David McMahan's birthday. So I bought him a message board, but a pink one, because it was all the bookstore had left. I assured him that the fact I could use it too, since I was his roommate, was pure coincidence. I wasn't sure how much David liked me back at this point, and this didn't help.

good times

I remember this time we were playing 4 square and Kyle kept saying his famous "Do WHAT?" Then the security guy came by and said it, but he meant it. He also asked us how many names we could think of for the shape of the ball. Why he asked this is beyond me. Also, a guy who none of us knew played with us, and was quite good. Then he broke out and told us this big, elaborate story, but it turned out to be a joke - one us. I think his name was Clyde. He was black, although that probably doesn't matter much for the story. (White people are always saying "he was black, although that probably doesn't matter much for the story," so I had to, too.)

good times. Hey I remember this time that Cliver started dating this extremely attractive girl. Then they broke up. Then Cliver repeated this whole process, 4 or 5 times.

good times for Cliver

I remember this time Becky told me her grandfather took the "d" out of "Windsor." Seems it was to prevent a mail mixup or something. And also Shannon's dad put the "e" onto "Cooke." I told Jen this and she told me her family took the "J" out of "Helm."
